Programs

Every lane. Every level.

Track Houston is not just for elite athletes — it's where elite athletes are made. Ages 7–18, no tryouts, from first stride to national championships.

The Pathway

Development → Competition → Championships

Development

Every athlete starts somewhere. New athletes learn fundamentals — form, starts, exchanges, pacing — at their neighborhood practice site with USATF-experienced coaches. No tryouts. Ages 7–18, every experience level.

Competition

The spring season runs through Houston-area invitationals and Track Houston's own meets, building toward the USATF Gulf Association championships. Cross country runs September through December.

Championships

Athletes who qualify advance from Association to Region to the USATF National Junior Olympic Championships — a pipeline Track Houston feeds every single year, at volume.

February – July

Track & Field

Sprints, hurdles, distance, relays, jumps, throws and combined events across nine practice sites. The season builds from the Track Houston Opener through Houston-area invitationals to the Gulf Association, Region and National Junior Olympic championships.

September – December

Cross Country

Fall base-building and racing at three park sites — Cypress, Katy and Sugar Land — through local invitationals to the USATF National Junior Olympic Cross Country Championships.
